Food Innovation Expo is created to meet a need within the industry. An established player behind the initiative
Behind Food Innovation Expo stands Easyfairs—an international exhibition organiser with over 100 events in 16 countries and more than one million visitors annually. With this experience, Easyfairs Nordic is now establishing a new platform to bring together and drive innovation in the food industry forward.

Skåne – a hub for food innovation
Food Innovation Expo will take place on 28–29 April 2027 at MalmöMässan. Malmö has been selected as the host city due to its strong position as a growing hub for innovation and development within the food industry.
At the same time, there is currently no dedicated meeting place that fully reflects the breadth and pace of innovation shaping the sector today. Food Innovation Expo is therefore being established as a new platform in Malmö – to showcase industry developments, foster new collaborations, and help turn ideas into reality.
